Application of immunofluorescent technique in the cytologic diagnosis of human herpes simplex keratitis.

In cases of keratitis it is often desirable for a correct treatment that a rapid etiologic diagnosis is established. This can easily be accomplished by using the immunofluorescent tecnique for the demonstration of herpes simplex viral antigen in corneal epithelium cells.
