This qualitative and exploratory study investigated the meaning of care for hospitalized children with chronic diseases, accompanied by a family member. Participants were six nurses, who worked in a Pediatric Ward of the teaching hospital of Campinas State University, São Paulo, Brazil. The technique used for collecting data was semi-direct interview. Thematic Content Analysis introduced the thematic category "Care for chronically ill children with focus on the disease". This care approach in the nurse's practice was shown to be predominant.
这项定性探索性研究调查了有家庭成员陪伴的住院慢性病儿童护理的意义。参与者是六名护士，他们在巴西圣保罗坎皮纳斯州立大学教学医院的儿科病房工作。收集数据所采用的技术是半直接访谈。主题内容分析引入了“关注疾病的慢性病儿童护理”这一主题类别。护士实践中的这种护理方法被证明是占主导地位的。
