Abstract

The molecular weight of Yaba virus DNA was determined by the isolation of intact DNA genomes from Yaba virus, which had been purified by two sucrose density gradient and one potassium tartrate gradient centrifugations, by cosedimentation with T2 DNA. The molecular weight of Yaba DNA was calculated to be 119 - 10(6).
