[Considerations for proving psychoanalytic theories in relation to psychological reality of analytic patients].

After discussing different scientific concepts of psychoanalysis and the function of theories in general several empirical scientific criteria are presented. These criteria may support the extraction of general serious theory proving empirical scientific statements from the analyst's experiences and observations in the psychoanalytic process.
