This study is a qualitative, descriptive, exploratory research aimed at understanding nursing professors' concept of care. The information was collected using focal group technique. The subjects were nursing professors of a Nursing Undergraduate course, and the information was analyzed by Thematic Analysis, which evidenced the category, Care Understanding, among others. The report on the professors' concept of care shows differences regarding their educational practices underlining technical issues. Thus, the findings show that these concepts were based on personal experiences and lacked political, humanistic, philosophical, and theoretical grounds.
本研究是一项定性、描述性、探索性研究,旨在了解护理教授的关怀概念。信息通过焦点小组技术收集。研究对象是护理学本科课程的护理教授,信息采用主题分析法进行分析,该分析证实了“关怀理解”等类别。关于教授关怀概念的报告显示,他们在强调技术问题的教育实践方面存在差异。因此,研究结果表明,这些概念基于个人经验,缺乏政治、人文、哲学和理论基础。
