To study the chemical constituents of Salacia prinoides.
The chemical constituents were isolated and purified with various column chrmoatography and the structures were elucidated by chemical evidence and spectral analysis.
Sixteen compounds,including seven triterpenes : lupeol (1), Lup-20(29)-en-3beta,30-diol (2), 30-Hydorxylup-20 (29) -en-3-one (3), 3, 22-dioxo-29-normoretane (4), Ursolid acid (5), beta-Sitosterol (6), beta-Daucosterol (7); Four flavanoids: Quercetin (8), Quercet-in-3', 4'-dimethylether (9), Isorhamnetin (10), Kaempferol-4'-methylether (11); Three Phenolic acids:Gallic acid (12), Ethyl gallate (13), Egallic acid (14); Two Fatty series: Hentriacontanol (15), Hentriacontan-12-ol (16) were obtained from the titled plant.
-4, 8 - 13 are isolated from the genus for the first time, 5, 14 -16 are isolated from the plant for the first time.

从该植物中得到16个化合物,包括7个三萜类化合物:羽扇豆醇(1)、羽扇-20(29)-烯-3β,30-二醇(2)、30-羟基羽扇-20(29)-烯-3-酮(3)、3,22-二氧代-29-降莫雷烷(4)、熊果酸(5)、β-谷甾醇(6)、β-胡萝卜苷(7);4个黄酮类化合物:槲皮素(8)、槲皮素-3',4'-二甲醚(9)、异鼠李素(10)、山柰酚-4'-甲醚(11);3个酚酸类化合物:没食子酸(12)、没食子酸乙酯(13)、紫铆因酸(14);两个脂肪族化合物:三十一烷醇(15)、12-羟基三十一烷(16)。
-4,8 - 13为首次从该属植物中分离得到,5,14 - 16为首次从该植物中分离得到。
