Wound dehiscence, hypertrophic scars, and keloids are three complications that can prove to be a nighmore to any surgeon. Given the proper realm of understanding, each can be treated and, more importantly, prevented. Neglected, compound problems can occur, thus making a successful osseous correction a "failure" overall.
