The effects of gossypol acetic acid on the transport and development of fertilized eggs have been observed in rats. The results showed that gossypol acetic acid apparently delayed egg transport and retarded early development of the embryo in the oviduct. It is suggested that these two effects may be important causes of the antiimplantation action of gossypol.
已在大鼠中观察了醋酸棉酚对受精卵转运和发育的影响。结果表明，醋酸棉酚明显延迟了卵子的转运，并阻碍了输卵管中胚胎的早期发育。提示这两种作用可能是棉酚抗着床作用的重要原因。
