Abstract
Neuroleptic malignant syndrome is a potentially fatal and frequently undiagnosed consequence of the use of neuroleptics. We present a case report of the syndrome in an octogenarian, the second such to appear in the literature. This syndrome is reviewed and its importance in diagnosis and treatment of the elderly is indicated.
摘要
抗精神病药物恶性综合征是使用抗精神病药物可能导致的一种潜在致命且常未被诊断出的后果。我们报告一例八旬老人患该综合征的病例，这是文献中出现的第二例此类病例。本文对该综合征进行了综述，并指出了其在老年人诊断和治疗中的重要性。
