5 alpha-Androstane-3 alpha, 17 beta-diol (3 alpha-diol) was measured in the submandibular gland (SMG) of male and female rats by radioimmunoassay (RIA) at 4 and 7 weeks of age. The raised and constant concentration of 3 alpha-diol was revealed in female SMG. The mean values of 3 alpha-diol in female SMG were found to be significantly higher than testosterone (T) and dihydrotestosterone (DHT). 3 alpha-diol in male SMG was similar to that of DHT and these two steroids decreased by the 7th week.
采用放射免疫分析法(RIA)测定了4周龄和7周龄雄性及雌性大鼠颌下腺(SMG)中5α-雄烷-3α,17β-二醇(3α-二醇)的含量。结果显示,雌性颌下腺中3α-二醇的浓度持续升高。发现雌性颌下腺中3α-二醇的平均值显著高于睾酮(T)和双氢睾酮(DHT)。雄性颌下腺中3α-二醇的含量与双氢睾酮相似,且这两种类固醇在第7周时均有所下降。
