The purpose of the investigation was to evaluate the efficiency of two protective creams elaborated in my laboratory, devised for protection of skin exposed to aqueous solution of chromium and nickel compounds. The creams were tested by the measurement of Cr2O7(2-) and Ni2+ absorption rate through the skin in rats and excretion of these metals in urine after termination of exposure. It was found that absorption rate both ions through the skin and their excretion in urine decreased in presence of creams. However, correlation between absorption rate and excretion of these metals in urine was not found.
本研究的目的是评估在我的实验室中研制的两种防护霜的效果,这两种防护霜旨在保护皮肤免受铬和镍化合物水溶液的侵害。通过测量大鼠皮肤对Cr2O7(2-)和Ni2+的吸收率以及暴露结束后这些金属在尿液中的排泄情况来测试这些防护霜。结果发现,在有防护霜存在的情况下,两种离子通过皮肤的吸收率及其在尿液中的排泄量均有所降低。然而,未发现这些金属的吸收率与尿液排泄之间存在相关性。
