In the crystal structure of the title complex, [Cu(C(4)H(5)O(2))(2)(C(5)H(5)N)(2)(H(2)O)], the Cu(II) cation is located on a twofold rotation axis and coordinated by two methyl-acrylate anions, two pyridine ligands and one water mol-ecule in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry. The coordinated water mol-ecule is also located on the twofold axis. In the crystal structure O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules, forming chains along the c axis.
在标题配合物[Cu(C₄H₅O₂)₂(C₅H₅N)₂(H₂O)]的晶体结构中，Cu(II)阳离子位于一个二次旋转轴上，由两个甲基丙烯酸根阴离子、两个吡啶配体和一个水分子以扭曲的四方锥几何构型配位。配位水分子也位于二次轴上。在晶体结构中，O—H⋯O氢键连接分子，沿c轴形成链状结构。
