The 150 years anniversary of Italy: a memorandum from the South. The tables and figures presented show the differences between North and South of Italy in term of position in the rank of wellbeing indexes, unemployment, poverty (number of poor individuals and families) and per capita consumptions. Health care workers should be aware of these differences in the interpretation of health care data and in the planning of health interventions.
