In the centrosymmetic title complex, [Co(C18H12N5)2(H2O)2], the Co(II) ion is coordinated by two N,N'-bidentate 5-(pyridin-2-yl)-3-[4-(pyridin-4-yl)phen-yl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ide ligands and two water mol-ecules in a trans-CoO2N4 coordination geometry. In the ligand, the dihedral angles between the triazole ring and its adjacent pyridine and benzene rings are 5.57 (14) and 6.89 (16)°, respectively. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, generating a three-dimensional network.
在中心对称的标题配合物[Co(C₁₈H₁₂N₅)₂(H₂O)₂]中，Co(II)离子由两个N,N'-双齿5-(吡啶-2-基)-3-[4-(吡啶-4-基)苯基]-1H-1,2,4-三唑-1-负离子配体和两个水分子以反式-CoO₂N₄配位几何构型配位。在配体中，三唑环与其相邻的吡啶环和苯环之间的二面角分别为5.57 (14)°和6.89 (16)°。在晶体中，分子通过O-H⋯N氢键相连，形成三维网络。
