Test for Respiratory and Asthma Control in Kids (TRACK) questionnaire is the first to measure both the risk and impairment domains of the current guidelines in preschool children. We aimed to measure the reliability, validity and responsiveness of the Turkish version of the TRACK.
A total of 268 children (69.8% boys) were included in the study. Caregivers responded to three individual TRACK questionnaires, at each clinical visit (baseline, 1st month, and 3rd month). At each visit, physicians determined the control level and the treatment strategy based on the GINA guideline recommendations.
The internal consistency reliability of the Turkish version of the TRACK questionnaire was found to be 0.74, 0.74, and 0.76 at each of the three visits, respectively (reliability statistics, Cronbach's alpha). There was a significant difference between the mean TRACK scores of the patients in different asthma control status categories (p < 0.001). The test-retest reliability in stable patients was 0.90. The optimal cut-off scores according to the Youden index were 80 and 60 points for uncontrolled and very poorly controlled children, respectively.
The Turkish version of the TRACK is an accurate and reliable tool for evaluating asthma control status among preschool Turkish children. Its widespread use may help physicians correctly assess control levels among children and may improve the quality of life for both patients and their caregivers.
儿童呼吸与哮喘控制测试（TRACK）问卷是首个同时测量当前指南中学龄前儿童风险和损害领域的工具。我们旨在评估TRACK土耳其语版本的信度、效度和反应度。
本研究共纳入268名儿童（69.8%为男孩）。在每次临床就诊时（基线、第1个月和第3个月），照料者需填写三份单独的TRACK问卷。每次就诊时，医生根据全球哮喘防治创议（GINA）指南建议确定控制水平和治疗策略。
TRACK问卷土耳其语版本在三次就诊时的内部一致性信度分别为0.74、0.74和0.76（信度统计指标，克朗巴哈系数）。不同哮喘控制状态类别的患者TRACK平均得分存在显著差异（p < 0.001）。稳定患者的重测信度为0.90。根据约登指数，未控制和控制极差儿童的最佳截断分数分别为80分和60分。
TRACK土耳其语版本是评估土耳其学龄前儿童哮喘控制状态的准确可靠工具。其广泛应用可能有助于医生正确评估儿童的控制水平，并可能改善患者及其照料者的生活质量。
