Abstract

PURPOSE

To investigate the relationship of spontaneous venous pulsation (SVP) with disc hemorrhage (DH) in open-angle glaucoma (OAG).

METHODS

Spontaneous venous pulsation was assessed and compared using a confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope movie tool in 52 eyes of 52 patients with DH, and 111 eyes of 111 patients in without DH. Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the factors associated with the occurrence of DH.

RESULTS

The frequency of SVP was 60.7% in overall patients with OAG. The absence of SVP was associated with lower untreated IOP (OR 0.880; P = 0.045), longer axial length (OR 1.654; P = 0.007), and worse visual field mean deviation (OR 0.884; P = 0.035). The absence of SVP was not significantly associated with DH by logistic analysis (OR 0.844; P = 0.626). Better visual field mean deviation (OR 1.098; P = 0.043), lower untreated IOP (OR 0.886; P = 0.021), and the tendency to cold hands (OR 2.688; P = 0.032) were associated with DH.

CONCLUSIONS

In consecutive patients with OAG, the absence of SVP was not associated with DH.

目的

研究开角型青光眼（OAG）中自发静脉搏动（SVP）与视盘出血（DH）之间的关系。

方法

使用共焦扫描激光检眼镜电影工具对52例患有视盘出血的患者的52只眼以及111例无视盘出血的患者的111只眼进行自发静脉搏动评估和比较。采用逻辑回归分析确定与视盘出血发生相关的因素。

结果

OAG总体患者中自发静脉搏动的发生率为60.7%。自发静脉搏动缺失与未治疗的眼压较低（比值比[OR]0.880；P = 0.045）、眼轴长度较长（OR 1.654；P = 0.007）以及视野平均缺损较差（OR 0.884；P = 0.035）相关。经逻辑分析，自发静脉搏动缺失与视盘出血无显著相关性（OR 0.844；P = 0.626）。较好的视野平均缺损（OR 1.098；P = 0.043）、较低的未治疗眼压（OR 0.886；P = 0.021）以及双手发凉倾向（OR 2.688；P = 0.032）与视盘出血相关。
