Abstract

99mTc-labeled dextran has been suggested as a lymphoscintigraphic agent. However, quality-control results from previous studies have been controversial. In this study, the optimal concentration of stannous ion and pH value were determined to obtain maximal labeling. Paper and thin-layer chromatography showed total labeling efficiency as high as 98.4%. Anthrone test of the supernatant of the segments from thin-layer chromatographic strip was performed. Colorimetric determinations verified that dextran was found in the same locations as the peak radioactivity.

99mTc标记的右旋糖酐已被提议作为一种淋巴闪烁造影剂。然而，先前研究的质量控制结果存在争议。在本研究中，确定了亚锡离子的最佳浓度和pH值以获得最大标记率。纸层析和薄层层析显示总标记效率高达98.4%。对薄层层析条带各部分的上清液进行了蒽酮试验。比色测定证实，右旋糖酐与放射性峰值位于相同位置。
