Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide an up to date review on the spectrum of applications of perfusion computed tomography (CT) in the abdomen. New imaging techniques have been developed with the objective of obtaining a structural and functional analysis of different organs. Recently, perfusion CT has aroused the interest of many researchers who are studying the applicability of imaging modalities in the evaluation of abdominal organs and diseases. Per-fusion CT enables fast, non-invasive imaging of the tumor vascular physiology. Moreover, it can act as an in vivo biomarker of tumor-related angiogenesis.

本文的目的是对腹部灌注计算机断层扫描(CT)的应用范围进行最新综述。已开发出新的成像技术,旨在对不同器官进行结构和功能分析。最近,灌注CT引起了许多研究人员的兴趣,他们正在研究成像方式在腹部器官和疾病评估中的适用性。灌注CT能够对肿瘤血管生理学进行快速、非侵入性成像。此外,它还可以作为肿瘤相关血管生成的体内生物标志物。
