The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of genetic and hormonal factors on incidences of depressive symptoms in late-reproductive-age women.
The study was performed using the Beck Depression Inventory, the PCR, and genetic tests of 347 healthy late-reproductive-age Polish women.
The relationship between the level of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) and depressive symptoms was not statistically significant (p > 0.05). Increases in age and FSH levels were accompanied by a decrease in AMH level in a significant way (p < 0.05). There were no statistically significant relationships between the distribution of genotypes and the frequency of alleles of the investigated polymorphisms and depressive symptoms according to the Beck Depression Inventory.
(1) The presence of the s/s genotype of the 5-HTTLPR polymorphism in the serotonin transporter promoter region and the 3/3 genotype of the 30-bp VNTR polymorphism in the monoamine oxidase A promoter region does not contribute to the development of depressive symptoms in late-reproductive-age women. (2) A relationship between the level of anti-Müllerian hormone and depressive symptoms was not confirmed in the group of healthy late-reproductive-age women. (3) AMH level correlates negatively with FSH level and age, which confirms that AMH can be regarded as a factor reflecting the ovarian reserve.
本研究旨在分析遗传和激素因素对晚育年龄女性抑郁症状发生率的影响。
采用贝克抑郁量表、聚合酶链反应(PCR)以及对347名健康的晚育年龄波兰女性进行基因检测来开展本研究。
抗苗勒管激素(AMH)水平与抑郁症状之间的关系无统计学意义(p>0.05)。年龄和促卵泡生成素(FSH)水平的升高伴随着AMH水平显著下降(p<0.05)。根据贝克抑郁量表,所研究多态性的基因型分布和等位基因频率与抑郁症状之间无统计学意义的关系。
(1)5-羟色胺转运体启动子区域5-HTTLPR多态性的s/s基因型以及单胺氧化酶A启动子区域30-bp VNTR多态性的3/3基因型的存在,对晚育年龄女性抑郁症状的发展无影响。(2)在健康的晚育年龄女性群体中,未证实抗苗勒管激素水平与抑郁症状之间存在关联。(3)AMH水平与FSH水平和年龄呈负相关,这证实AMH可被视为反映卵巢储备的一个因素。
