Poultry are more susceptible to receiving and spreading of fungal infections in exact conditions. The goal of this study was to identify the normal fungal flora and dermatophytes agent of the combs and wattles of adult native chickens in Tehran, Iran.
A total of 150 combs and wattles samples were collected by skin scraping or brushing of the margin of the suspected lesion and skin of organ. The mycological analyses were performed by direct microscopy and culture media.
One hundred and ninety fungi were isolated from the combs of 150 native chickens' samples that including non-dermatophytes isolates 165 (86.8%), dermatophytes 6 (3.2%) and yeast 19 (10%). Among different fungal isolates, Aspergillus was the predominant species.
Our results showed that human in contact with poultry, both at the household and the industrial level, have a clear risk factor for exposure to fungal pathogens, especially dermatophytes.
在特定条件下,家禽更容易感染并传播真菌感染。本研究的目的是确定伊朗德黑兰成年本地鸡鸡冠和肉垂的正常真菌菌群及皮肤癣菌病原体。
通过刮取或刷取疑似病变边缘及器官皮肤,共采集了150份鸡冠和肉垂样本。采用直接显微镜检查和培养基进行真菌学分析。
从150份本地鸡样本的鸡冠中分离出190株真菌,其中非皮肤癣菌分离株165株(86.8%),皮肤癣菌6株(3.2%),酵母菌19株(10%)。在不同的真菌分离株中,曲霉菌是主要菌种。
我们的结果表明,在家户和工业层面与家禽接触的人,有明显的暴露于真菌病原体尤其是皮肤癣菌的风险因素。
