Abstract
We report herein the synthesis of a fully functionalized B,C,D-ring system of lancifodilactone F. The key transformations involve an arene-olefin -photocycloaddition reaction and a palladium-catalyzed oxidative C-C cleavage reaction to establish its B,C-rings.
