The rare disease entity of Buschke-Löwenstein tumor, a giant condyloma, is discussed with reference to a case history. The clinical picture is quite typical, whereas the histological differentiation from carcinoma can be difficult. The tumor exterts a local destructive effect by way of growth penetrating in to the deep tissue. Malignant transformation has been known to occur. These aspects have to be considered in therapy.
