Using a collective of 54 patients with 76 operated metastases of long bones in carcinoma of the breast and kidney the frequency of local recurrence after intralesional and extralesional (marginal, wide, radical) resection was investigated. 57 operations were done intralesional, 19 extralesional. Local recurrence was seen in 50.8% in the intralesional group on the other hand in only 15% in the extralesional group (p 0.007). Relief of pain was similar in both groups. The postoperative range of motion had worse results after extralesional resection and endoprosthetic replacement. There was no difference between both groups in the manifestation of further metastases.
选取54例患有乳腺癌和肾癌且长骨有76处转移灶接受手术的患者，研究病灶内切除和病灶外（边缘、广泛、根治性）切除后局部复发的频率。病灶内切除57例，病灶外切除19例。病灶内切除组局部复发率为50.8%，而病灶外切除组仅为15%（p<0.007）。两组疼痛缓解情况相似。病灶外切除及人工关节置换术后的活动范围结果较差。两组在后续转移灶表现方面无差异。
