Abstract

WebRTC is enabling a new generation of Telehealth applications and will be an important part of the future of Telehealth. WebRTC allows for web applications to control a user's microphone and video camera from the browser. In this viewpoint, the author presents the pros and cons of WebRTC for Telehealth applications.
