Abstract

The "Queen of Fruits" mangosteen ( L.) produces commercially important fruits with desirable taste of flesh and pericarp rich in xanthones with medicinal properties. To date, only limited knowledge is available on the cytogenetics and genome sequences of a common variety of mangosteen (Abu Bakar et al., 2016 [1]). Here, we report the first single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing data from whole genome sequencing of mangosteen of Mesta variety. Raw reads of the SMRT sequencing project can be obtained from SRA database with the accession numbers SRX2718652 until SRX2718659.

摘要

“水果皇后”山竹(莽吉柿)产出的果实具有重要的商业价值,其果肉口感宜人,果皮富含具有药用特性的氧杂蒽酮。迄今为止,对于常见山竹品种的细胞遗传学和基因组序列的了解还很有限(Abu Bakar等人,2016年[1])。在此,我们报告了首个来自Mesta品种山竹全基因组测序的单分子实时(SMRT)测序数据。SMRT测序项目的原始读数可从SRA数据库获取,登录号为SRX2718652至SRX2718659。
