The purpose of the present study was to determine the larvicidal effect of 'Endod' (Phytolacca dodecandra) seed products on Anopheles arabiensis, in Ethiopia.
Experimental study was conducted using a total of 2400 third instars larvae of A. arabiensis. The seed products P. dodecandra showed larvicidal activity against 3rd-stage larvae of both the laboratory and field population of A. arabiensis. The LC values for P. dodecandra's seed powder and its extract form against the laboratory reared larvae were 121.07, and 616.46 mg/l, respectively. The LC and LC values were also determined.
本研究的目的是确定埃塞俄比亚“Endod”(商陆)种子产品对阿拉伯按蚊的杀幼虫效果。
使用总共2400只阿拉伯按蚊三龄幼虫进行了实验研究。商陆种子产品对阿拉伯按蚊实验室种群和野外种群的三龄幼虫均表现出杀幼虫活性。商陆种子粉及其提取物对实验室饲养幼虫的LC值分别为121.07和616.46毫克/升。还测定了LC 和LC值。
