Abstract

A novel polysaccharide FVPB2 was purified from fruiting bodies of Flammulina velutipes. Its structure was elucidated by monosaccharide composition and methylation analyses, UV-Visible and FTIR spectroscopy as well as NMR. FVPB2 was a homogeneous heteropolysaccharide (molecular weight ~ 1.50 × 10 Da) containing D-galactose, D-mannose, L-fucose, and D-glucose at molar ratio of 1.9:1.2:1:2.5. In vitro immunomodulatory studies showed FVPB2 induced proliferation of mouse spleen lymphocytes in a dose-dependent manner. The levels of IgM and IgG, secreted by B cells, increased after FVPB2 treatment. So FVPB2 has potential to be a new important immunomodulatory nutraceutical.

一种新型多糖 FVPB2 从金针菇的子实体中被分离出来。其结构通过单糖组成和甲基化分析、紫外可见光谱和傅里叶变换红外光谱以及核磁共振来阐明。FVPB2 是一种均一的杂多糖(分子量约为 1.50×10 Da),含有 D-半乳糖、D-甘露糖、L-岩藻糖和 D-葡萄糖,摩尔比为 1.9:1.2:1:2.5。体外免疫调节研究表明,FVPB2 以剂量依赖的方式诱导小鼠脾淋巴细胞增殖。FVPB2 处理后 B 细胞分泌的 IgM 和 IgG 水平增加。因此,FVPB2 有可能成为一种新的重要的免疫调节营养保健品。
