Percutaneous drainage of an infected mediastinal pseudocyst.

Extension of pancreatic pseudocysts into the mediastinum is a rare but recognized condition. We report an example of a complicated pseudocyst with mediastinal extension, internal hemorrhage, and infection, which was successfully drained percutaneously through the abdomen.
