Taxonomic study of species of the genus Chevrolat, 1836 with subscutellar incised ridges in males and occurring in Taiwan resulted in the transfer of all species to Laboissière, 1936: (Chûjô, 1962), , (Chûjô, 1935), , (Kimoto, 1996) , and (Kimoto, 1969), The position of Chûjô, 1938 in is confirmed. Lectotypes are designated for Chûjô, 1938 and Chûjô, 1935. Generic characters of are re-evaluated in the context of these nomenclatural changes.
