TiO₂ micro-/nano-structures with different morphologies have been successfully synthesized via a hydrothermal method. The effects of the solvents on the morphology and structure of the obtained products have been studied. The objective of the present paper is to compare the photocatalytic properties of the obtained TiO₂ products. During the synthesis process, the tetrabutyl titanate and titanium (IV) fluoride were used as the titanium source. The obtained micro-/nano-structures were characterized by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, and nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms. The photocatalytic activity of the samples was evaluated by the degradation of Rhodamine B solution under simulated solar irradiation. It is found that the morphologies and structures of TiO₂ have a great influence on its photocatalytic activity. Compared with other samples, TiO₂ flower clusters assembled with nanorods exhibited a superior photocatalytic activity in the degradation of Rhodamine B.
通过水热法成功合成了具有不同形貌的TiO₂微/纳米结构。研究了溶剂对所得产物形貌和结构的影响。本文的目的是比较所得TiO₂产物的光催化性能。在合成过程中,使用钛酸四丁酯和氟化钛(IV)作为钛源。通过场发射扫描电子显微镜、X射线衍射分析和氮吸附-脱附等温线对所得微/纳米结构进行了表征。通过在模拟太阳辐射下降解罗丹明B溶液来评估样品的光催化活性。发现TiO₂的形貌和结构对其光催化活性有很大影响。与其他样品相比,由纳米棒组装而成的TiO₂花簇在罗丹明B的降解中表现出优异的光催化活性。
