Abstract

Case report of Community-acquired pneumonia in a male patient without co-morbidities. Empiric antibiotic treatment did not resolve the clinical picture of productive cough, and a chest computerized tomography and sputum culture with antibiogram were performed, identifying infection with sensitivity to levofloxacin and sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim. Treatment with levofloxacin (500 mg/day for 15 days) resulted in resolution of the clinical picture.

摘要

一名无合并症男性患者社区获得性肺炎的病例报告。经验性抗生素治疗未能缓解咳痰的临床表现,遂进行了胸部计算机断层扫描和痰培养及药敏试验,结果显示感染对左氧氟沙星和磺胺甲恶唑/甲氧苄啶敏感。使用左氧氟沙星(500毫克/天,共15天)治疗后,临床症状得到缓解。
