Abstract

A compact and portable Mo-Tc generator based on solvent-extraction, mimic to the conventional Mo-Tc alumina column generator is much-needed commodity for use in hospital radiopharmacy setup. The present study includes the development of a portable, simple and low cost Mo/Tc-generator based on MEK solvent extraction technique to obtain a very high concentration of no-carrier added (nca) Tc solution, where low specific activity Mo source is obtained through Mo(n, γ)Mo reaction in a research reactor. The unit is intended for operation under the conditions of medical radiological laboratories. Technical trials showed that the mean time of preparation of sodium [Tc] pertechnetate radiopharmaceutical did not exceed 15 min. The quality and yield of Tc-pertechnetate is upto the mark for formulation of radiopharmaceuticals.

一种基于溶剂萃取的紧凑型便携式钼-锝发生器,类似于传统的钼-锝氧化铝柱发生器,是医院放射性药物制备中急需的设备。本研究包括开发一种基于甲乙酮溶剂萃取技术的便携式、简单且低成本的钼/锝发生器,以获得非常高浓度的无载体添加(nca)锝溶液,其中低比活度钼源是通过在研究堆中利用钼(n,γ)钼反应获得的。该装置旨在在医学放射实验室的条件下运行。技术试验表明,高锝酸钠放射性药物的平均制备时间不超过15分钟。高锝酸盐的质量和产率符合放射性药物制剂的标准。
