A 43-year-old woman presented with oral discomfort, sneezing, urticaria, eyelid angioedema, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, dyspnoea and wheeze soon after eating a Japanese flour pancake (okonomiyaki, containing wheat, egg, yam, pork, prawn and squid). Subsequent analysis of the flour used in the pancake revealed the presence of (4500 mites/g). The patient tested positive for specific IgE to (15.2 kU/L) and (14.0 kU/L) with negative responses to other ingredients in the pancake. Oral ingestion of dust mite in poorly stored foods can cause anaphylactic reactions in patients with allergy.
一名43岁女性在食用日式面粉煎饼（御好烧，含小麦、鸡蛋、山药、猪肉、虾和鱿鱼）后不久，出现口腔不适、打喷嚏、荨麻疹、眼睑血管性水肿、腹痛、腹泻、呼吸困难和喘息症状。随后对煎饼所用面粉的分析显示，每克面粉中有4500只螨虫。该患者对粉尘螨的特异性IgE检测呈阳性（15.2 kU/L），对屋尘螨的检测也呈阳性（14.0 kU/L），而对煎饼中的其他成分检测呈阴性。食用储存不当食物中的尘螨可导致过敏患者发生过敏反应。
