Femoral head avascular necrosis (FHAN) is one of the most common progressive orthopedic disorders. Previous studies have reported that artificial femoral head replacement (AFHR) can effectively treat patients with FHAN. However, no systematic review has investigated the efficacy of AFHR for FHAN. This study will assess the efficacy of AFHR for patients with FHAN.
We will search MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure up to March 1, 2019 without any restrictions. Any randomized controlled trials for assessing the efficacy of AFHR for patients with FHAN. The methodological quality for each eligible study will be assessed by using Cochrane risk of bias tool. Statistical analysis will be conducted by using RevMan 5.3.
This study will provide current evidence of AFHR for patients with FHAN from several aspects, including pain intensity, function, and limitation of femoral head, health-related quality of life, and safety.

股骨头缺血性坏死(FHAN)是最常见的进行性骨科疾病之一。既往研究报道,人工股骨头置换术(AFHR)可有效治疗FHAN患者。然而,尚无系统评价研究AFHR治疗FHAN的疗效。本研究将评估AFHR治疗FHAN患者的疗效。
我们将不受限制地检索截至2019年3月1日的MEDLINE、EMBASE、科学引文索引、Cochrane图书馆、中国生物医学文献数据库和中国知网。纳入任何评估AFHR治疗FHAN患者疗效的随机对照试验。采用Cochrane偏倚风险工具评估每项合格研究的方法学质量。使用RevMan 5.3进行统计分析。
本研究将从疼痛强度、功能、股骨头受限情况、健康相关生活质量和安全性等多个方面提供AFHR治疗FHAN患者的当前证据。
