Abstract

Carbapenems are a class of antimicrobial agents reserved for infections caused by multidrug-resistant microorganisms. The emergence of carbapenem resistance has become a serious public health threat. This type of antimicrobial resistance is spreading at an alarming rate, resulting in major outbreaks and treatment failure of community-acquired and nosocomial infections caused by the clinically relevant carbapenem-producing or carbapenem-resistant . This review is focused on carbapenem resistance, including mechanisms of resistance, history and epidemiology, phenotypic and genotypic detection in the clinically relevant bacterial pathogens and the possible treatment options available.

碳青霉烯类是一类用于治疗多重耐药微生物引起感染的抗菌药物。碳青霉烯类耐药性的出现已成为严重的公共卫生威胁。这种类型的抗菌药物耐药性正以惊人的速度传播,导致由临床相关的产碳青霉烯酶或耐碳青霉烯类细菌引起的社区获得性和医院感染的重大暴发和治疗失败。本综述聚焦于碳青霉烯类耐药性,包括耐药机制、历史与流行病学、临床相关细菌病原体中的表型和基因型检测以及可用的可能治疗选择。
