Abstract
The first imported case of XDR typhoid fever in Taiwan contracted with a bacterial strain, which was most closely related to the bla-carrying strains linked to Pakistan. Meropenem, in combination with an antimicrobial with intracellular activity against Salmonella, should be used for the treatment of XDR typhoid fever.

台湾首例 XDR 伤寒病例感染的菌株，与巴基斯坦有关的 bla 携带菌株最为密切相关。对于 XDR 伤寒的治疗，应使用美罗培南联合具有细胞内抗沙门氏菌活性的抗菌药物。
