Abstract

This paper reviews recent developments in the preparation, surface functionalization, and applications of FeO magnetic nanoparticles. Especially, it includes preparation methods (such as electrodeposition, polyol methods, etc.), organic materials (such as polymers, small molecules, surfactants, biomolecules, etc.) or inorganic materials (such as silica, metals, and metal oxidation/sulfide, functionalized coating of carbon surface, graphene, etc.) and its applications (such as magnetic separation, protein fixation, magnetic catalyst, environmental treatment, medical research, etc.). In the end, some existing challenges and possible future trends in the field were discussed.

本文综述了 FeO 磁性纳米粒子的制备、表面功能化及应用的最新进展。特别地,它包括制备方法(如电沉积、多元醇法等)、有机材料(如聚合物、小分子、表面活性剂、生物分子等)或无机材料(如二氧化硅、金属和金属氧化物/硫化物、碳表面功能化涂层、石墨烯等)及其应用(如磁性分离、蛋白质固定、磁性催化剂、环境处理、医学研究等)。最后,讨论了该领域目前存在的挑战和未来可能的发展趋势。
