The aim of this study was to determine the effect of precolonoscopy information with the guidance of an education booklet on anxiety and bowel preparation adequacy in patients undergoing colonoscopy.
A randomized controlled study.
The education group was informed face to face by the researcher with the guidance of the colonoscopy education booklet and provided the education booklet. The control group received usual care.
The mean state and trait anxiety scores of the patients in the education group were found to be significantly lower than the control group. In the education group, the bowel preparation adequacy was determined to be higher compared with the control group.
Informing patients with the guidance of the education booklet before the colonoscopy decreased patients' state and trait anxiety levels and increased their bowel preparation adequacy.
本研究旨在确定结肠镜检查前使用教育手册进行指导对患者焦虑和肠道准备充分性的影响。
随机对照研究。
教育组由研究者通过结肠镜教育手册进行面对面告知，并提供教育手册。对照组接受常规护理。
发现教育组患者的状态和特质焦虑评分均明显低于对照组。在教育组，与对照组相比，肠道准备充分性更高。
在结肠镜检查前使用教育手册告知患者可降低患者的状态和特质焦虑水平，并提高其肠道准备充分性。
