The article aimed to highlight the antioxidant potential of natural extracts obtained from in elastomer vulcanizatec made of natural rubber. Horsetail extracts were prepared using four solvent systems at different volume ratios: methanol-water (50/50 and 70/30) and ethanol-water (50/50 and 70/30), which were then lyophilized and added to the polymer matrix. A deep characterization of the obtained bio-additives was performed. The obtained vulcanizates were subjected to various aging processes: thermo-oxidative, ultraviolet and solar. Then, the resistance and susceptibility of vulcanizates to selected processes of accelerated, simulated degradation were determined based on the changes in the spatial structure (network nodes), material strength and physical properties (color). The research showed the presence of polyphenols in the extracts of horsetail, which resulted in their high anti-oxidative activity. Moreover, the extracts were able to absorb UV radiation. As a consequence, they were active additives that protected rubber vulcanizates against the damaging effects of the aging processes, securing their functional properties. Samples containing natural extracts were characterized by better stability of: mechanical strength parameters, the increase in cross-linking density and color changes after simulating aging processes in comparison with the control sample.
本文旨在强调从天然橡胶制成的弹性体硫化胶中获得的天然提取物的抗氧化潜力。使用四种不同体积比的溶剂体系制备马尾提取物:甲醇 - 水(50/50和70/30)以及乙醇 - 水(50/50和70/30),然后将其冻干并添加到聚合物基质中。对所得生物添加剂进行了深入表征。对所得硫化胶进行了各种老化过程:热氧化、紫外线和阳光老化。然后,根据空间结构(网络节点)、材料强度和物理性质(颜色)的变化,确定硫化胶对选定的加速模拟降解过程的抗性和敏感性。研究表明马尾提取物中存在多酚,这导致其具有高抗氧化活性。此外,提取物能够吸收紫外线辐射。因此,它们是活性添加剂,可保护橡胶硫化胶免受老化过程的破坏作用,确保其功能特性。与对照样品相比,含有天然提取物 的样品在模拟老化过程后的机械强度参数、交联密度增加和颜色变化方面具有更好的稳定性。
