Abstract

High attrition rates of novice nurses partly reflect how well nursing education programs are preparing students for the physical, mental, and emotional demands of nursing practice. Resilience is a positive adaptation to stress that improves the ability of nurses to effectively navigate complex challenges, and adversity without losing personal balance and the desire to stay in the profession. Resiliency is both a process and an outcome that is modifiable through education and practice. Clinical conferences, or group debriefings, are an underdeveloped component of nursing education that provide timely opportunities to focus on building aspects of resiliency and prepare students for a sustainable transition into practice.

摘要

新手护士的高离职率部分反映了护理教育计划在多大程度上使学生为护理实践的身体、心理和情绪需求做好了准备。适应力是对压力的一种积极适应,可以提高护士有效应对复杂挑战和逆境的能力,而不会失去个人平衡和留在该行业的愿望。适应力既是一个过程,也是一个可以通过教育和实践来改变的结果。临床会议或小组汇报是护理教育中一个不发达的组成部分,它提供了及时的机会来关注培养适应力的各个方面,并为学生顺利过渡到实践做好准备。
