A novel light-yellow-coloured, Gram-stain-positive, nearly-coccoid, aerobic bacterium, designated strain ID2601S was isolated from a car evaporator core collected from South Korea. Strain ID2601S was catalase positive and oxidase negative, able to grow at pH 6.0-8.0, temperature 20-45 °C, and 0-6.0% (w/v) NaCl concentration. The 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that strain ID2601S belonged to the genus Flexivirga, with the nearest phylogenetic neighbour being Flexivirga endophytica YIM 7505 (97.9% sequence similarity). The strain comprised diphosphatidylglycerol as the main polar lipid; MK-8(H) as a predominant respiratory quinone; serine, alanine, glycine, glutamic acid, and lysine as main components of peptidoglycan and iso-C, summed feature 9 (iso-Cω9c and/or C 10-methyl), anteiso-C, and C 10-methyl as the major fatty acids. The average nucleotide identity (ANI) values between strain ID2601S and the closest species (Flexivirga endophytica YIM 7505 and Flexivirga caeni BO-16) were < 78%. The in silico DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) values of strain ID2601S with the closest species were < 22%. These observations were below the threshold values of 95% (for ANI) and 70% (for dDDH) used for species delineation. The DNA G+C content was 69.8 mol%. Based on the polyphasic taxonomic data, the novel species Flexivirga aerilata sp. nov. is proposed with the type strain ID2601S (=KCTC 49353 =NBRC 114622).
从韩国收集的汽车蒸发器芯中分离出一株新型的浅黄颜色、革兰氏染色阳性、近球形的需氧细菌,命名为ID2601S菌株。ID2601S菌株过氧化氢酶阳性、氧化酶阴性,能够在pH 6.0 - 8.0、温度20 - 45℃和0 - 6.0%(w/v)NaCl浓度下生长。16S rRNA基因序列分析表明,ID2601S菌株属于弯曲杆菌属,与最接近的系统发育邻居内生弯曲杆菌YIM 7505的序列相似性为97.9%。该菌株以双磷脂酰甘油为主要极性脂质;MK - 8(H)为主要呼吸醌;丝氨酸、丙氨酸、甘氨酸、谷氨酸和赖氨酸为肽聚糖的主要成分,异C、总和特征9(异Cω9c和/或C 10 - 甲基)、anteiso - C和C 10 - 甲基为主要脂肪酸。ID2601S菌株与最接近的物种(内生弯曲杆菌YIM 7505和污泥弯曲杆菌BO - 16)之间的平均核苷酸同一性(ANI)值<78%。ID2601S菌株与最接近物种的计算机模拟DNA - DNA杂交(dDDH)值<22%。这些观察结果低于用于物种划分的95%(ANI)和70%(dDDH)的阈值。DNA G + C含量为69.8 mol%。基于多相分类学数据,提出了新物种气生弯曲杆菌Flexivirga aerilata sp. nov.,模式菌株为ID2601S(=KCTC 49353 =NBRC 114622)。
