Abstract

is generally thought to be the wild ancestor nearest to the domesticated silkworm, . Here, we report the complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of strain Shiquan. The mitogenome contains 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes, and one A + T-rich region. Phylogenetic analysis provides solid evidence that belongs to Chinese , rather than Japanese . The new mitogenome provides useful information to further explore the origin and domestication of this species.

一般认为是最接近家养蚕的野生祖先。在此,我们报告了石泉品系的完整线粒体基因组(线粒体基因组)。该线粒体基因组包含13个蛋白质编码基因(PCG)、22个tRNA基因、两个rRNA基因和一个富含A+T的区域。系统发育分析提供了确凿证据,表明其属于中国种,而非日本种。新的线粒体基因组为进一步探索该物种的起源和驯化提供了有用信息。
