Abstract

In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of Gaojiao chicken () was sequenced using samples collected from Puding county of Guizhou province, China. The mitogenome of Gaojiao chicken is 16,786 bp in length, and it contained 22 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes, 2 ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes, 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), and a control region (D-loop), the overall base nucleotide compositions encoded are 30.27% A, 32.52% C, 13.49% G, and 23.72% T. The phylogenetic tree was constructed using neighbor-joining (N-J) method, which indicated that the Gaojiao chicken has the close relationship with Nandan chicken, Daweishan chicken, Wuding chicken, and Guangxi three-buff chicken.

在本研究中,利用从中国贵州省普定县采集的样本对高脚鸡()的完整线粒体基因组进行了测序。高脚鸡的线粒体基因组长度为16,786 bp,包含22个转移RNA(tRNA)基因、2个核糖体RNA(rRNA)基因、13个蛋白质编码基因(PCG)和一个控制区(D-loop),编码的总体碱基核苷酸组成为30.27%A、32.52%C、13.49%G和23.72%T。采用邻接法(N-J)构建系统发育树,结果表明高脚鸡与南丹鸡、大围山鸡、武定鸡和广西三黄鸡关系密切。
