Abstract

Kaszab , an endangered species used to extract cantharidin in Chinese traditional medicine, has a limited geographical distribution in the southwest China. The complete mitochondrial genome of is 15 645bp which contains an A + T rich region and 37 genes, including 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes and two rRNA genes (GenBank accession No. KX023302). All protein-coding genes are initiated by ATN start codon. Moreover, the largest non-coding A + T-rich region with a length of 1039 bp is at the end of 12S rRNA. It is the first report involved in the complete mitochondrial genome of .

斑蝥是中国传统医学中用于提取斑蝥素的濒危物种,在中国西南部地理分布有限。其线粒体基因组全长15645bp,包含一个富含A+T的区域和37个基因,其中包括13个蛋白质编码基因、22个tRNA基因和两个rRNA基因(GenBank登录号:KX023302)。所有蛋白质编码基因均以ATN起始密码子开始。此外,长度为1039bp的最大非编码富含A+T区域位于12S rRNA末端。这是关于斑蝥线粒体基因组完整序列的首次报道。
