Abstract

The mitochondrial genome of the smallest known free-living insect (Polilov, 2015) is published in this paper. The mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is 14 719 base pairs (bp) in length and contained 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes and 21 tRNA genes. The overall base composition of the genome in descending order was 40.59% - A, 13.85% - C, 36.82% - T and 8.73% - G, with a significant AT bias of 77.41%.

本文发表了已知最小的自由生活昆虫的线粒体基因组(波利洛夫,2015年)。线粒体DNA(mtDNA)长度为14719个碱基对(bp),包含13个蛋白质编码基因、2个rRNA基因和21个tRNA基因。基因组的总体碱基组成按降序排列为:A占40.59%、C占13.85%、T占36.82%、G占8.73%,AT偏差显著,为77.41%。
