Abstract

The complete mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) for the Chinese short-limbed skink ( Gray, 1845) was described by using next-generation sequencing. The total length of mtDNA was 16,840 bp, which contained 13 (, , , , , and ), 22 transfer RNA () genes, 2 ribosomal RNA () genes, and a control region (). The Bayesian inference tree showed that was a sister taxon to other scincid lizards in genera of , , and . The complete mtDNA of will be an important genetic resource to the studies of conservation and restoration of .

利用二代测序技术对中国短肢石龙子(Gray,1845)的完整线粒体DNA(mtDNA)进行了描述。mtDNA全长16,840 bp,包含13个(,,,,,和)、22个转运RNA()基因、2个核糖体RNA()基因以及一个控制区()。贝叶斯推断树显示,是、、和属中其他石龙子科蜥蜴的姐妹分类单元。的完整mtDNA将成为石龙子保护与恢复研究的重要遗传资源。
