Physical activity and nutrition interventions are the most important ways to prevent gestational diabetes. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of healthy lifestyle intervention to promote preventive behaviors of gestational diabetes in the rural woman of Shoush city.
In an experimental study, 60 pregnant women were selected using simple random sampling and allocate into intervention group ( = 30) and nutrition program. The study was conducted from September to June 2018. The data were collected in baseline and 1 month and 3 months of follow-up phase and were analyzed using Chi-square test, repeated-measure test, and generalized linear model (GLM). The α = 0.05 was considered as significance.
The mean age in the intervention and control group was 25.9 ± 5.6 and 27.2 ± 5.9, respectively. The GLM test showed a significant increase in the physical activity level and the mean of nutrition behaviors within the intervention group over time ( = 0.013). Further, based on the results of repeated-measure test, the mean of weekly MET-minute was increased in the intervention group in comparison to the control group at 1 month and 3 months of follow-up ( < 0.001).
The lifestyle interventions are appropriate programs to the reduction of the risk of development of gestational diabetes in pregnant women.
体育活动和营养干预是预防妊娠期糖尿病的最重要方式。本研究的目的是确定健康生活方式干预对促进寿市农村妇女预防妊娠期糖尿病行为的影响。
在一项实验研究中,采用简单随机抽样选取60名孕妇,并将其分为干预组(n = 30)和营养计划组。研究于2018年9月至6月进行。在基线期以及随访阶段的1个月和3个月收集数据,并使用卡方检验、重复测量检验和广义线性模型(GLM)进行分析。以α = 0.05作为显著性水平。
干预组和对照组的平均年龄分别为25.9±5.6岁和27.2±5.9岁。GLM检验显示,随着时间推移,干预组的身体活动水平和营养行为均值显著增加(P = 0.013)。此外,根据重复测量检验结果,在随访的1个月和3个月时,干预组的每周代谢当量分钟均值相较于对照组有所增加(P < 0.001)。
生活方式干预是降低孕妇患妊娠期糖尿病风险的合适方案。
