Strain S02 was isolated from a surface sediment sample collected from the Bering Sea (64.3361° N, 170.9541° W). The cells were Gram-stain-negative, motile and rod-shaped. The temperature range for growth was 4-25 °C and the pH for growth was 5.5-9.0, with optimum growth occurring at 20-25 °C and pH 7.0-8.0. Growth occurred in the presence of 0-7 % (w/v) NaCl (optimum, 2-5 %). Strain S02 had menaquinone-8 as the major respiratory quinone and summed feature 8 (C 7 and/or C 6), C16:0, C cyclo, summed feature 3 (C 7 /C 7), C and C as major fatty acids. The major polar lipids were diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol and two glycolipids. The genomic DNA G+C content was approximately 63.8 mol%. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that strain S02 belonged to the genus . Strain S02 showed the highest sequence similarities to Cr7-05 (97.5 %), CM5-1 (97.7 %), KMM 9415 (97.4 %), E84 (97.44 %), LIV5 (97.1 %) and DSM 17137 (96.7 %). On the basis of phylogenetic analyses and phenotypic characteristics, a novel species of the genus , sp. nov., is proposed, with the type strain S02 (=JCM 33772=CCTCC AB 2019343).
菌株 S02 是从白令海(北纬 64.3361°,西经 170.9541°)的表层沉积物样本中分离出来的。细胞革兰氏染色阴性,可运动,呈杆状。生长温度范围为 4-25°C,生长 pH 值为 5.5-9.0,最佳生长条件为 20-25°C 和 pH 7.0-8.0。在 0-7%(w/v)NaCl(最佳为 2-5%)存在的情况下可以生长。菌株 S02 的主要呼吸醌为menaquinone-8,特征脂肪酸为 sum feature 8(C 7 和/或 C 6)、C 16:0、C cyclo、sum feature 3(C 7 /C 7)和 C 18:1ω7c 和 C 18:1ω6c。主要极性脂为二磷脂酰甘油、磷脂酰甘油和两种糖脂。基因组 DNA G+C 含量约为 63.8mol%。基于 16S rRNA 基因序列的系统发育分析表明,菌株 S02 属于 属。菌株 S02 与 Cr7-05(97.5%)、CM5-1(97.7%)、KMM 9415(97.4%)、E84(97.44%)、LIV5(97.1%)和 DSM 17137(96.7%)的序列相似性最高。根据系统发育分析和表型特征,提出了一个新的属 种,即 sp. nov.,其模式菌株为 S02(=JCM 33772=CCTCC AB 2019343)。
