The objective of this study was to observe the effects of anthocyanin from purple corn on blood biochemical indexes, ruminal fluid fermentation parameters, and the microbial population in goats. A total of 18 Qianbei Ma wether kids (body weight, 21.38 ± 1.61 kg; mean ± standard deviation) were randomly assigned to three groups using a completely randomized design. The group diets were: (1) control, basal diet, (2) treatment 1 (LA), basal diet with 0.5-g/d purple corn pigment (PCP), and (3) treatment 2 (HA), basal diet with 1-g/d PCP. The results showed that supplementation of PCP anthocyanin increased ( < 0.05) crude protein and gross energy digestibilities compared to the control. Compared to the control group, the inclusion of anthocyanin-rich PCP led to significantly increased ( < 0.05) plasma reduced glutathione and peroxidase concentrations. Goats receiving PCP had increased ( < 0.05) ruminal fluid acetic acid and a higher ratio of acetate to propionate, while the propionic acid, butyric acid, valeric acid, isobutyric acid, and isovaleric acid levels had decreased ( < 0.05). There was no significant difference ( > 0.05) in ruminal fluid alpha bacterial diversity among the three groups. At the phylum level, the feeding of PCP had significant effect ( < 0.05) on the abundances of , WPS-2, and . At the genus level, HA group had lower ( < 0.05) NK3B31_group abundance compared to the other groups. In addition, significant differences ( < 0.05) were also observed for the ruminal fluid nodatum_group, , U29-B03, unclassified_c, UCG-004, , norank_f_norank_o, norank_f_norank_o_norank_c_norank_p_WPS-2, norank_f__UCG-001, and norank_f_norank_o_ among all groups. Taken together, the inclusion of anthocyanin-rich PCP increased the antioxidant potential, improved rumen volatile fatty acids, and induced a shift in the structure and relative abundance of ruminal microbiota in growing goats.
本研究的目的是观察紫玉米花青素对山羊血液生化指标、瘤胃液发酵参数和微生物种群的影响。采用完全随机设计,将18只黔北麻阉公羔(体重21.38±1.61千克;平均值±标准差)随机分为三组。各组日粮分别为:(1)对照组,基础日粮;(2)处理1组(LA),基础日粮加0.5克/天的紫玉米色素(PCP);(3)处理2组(HA),基础日粮加1克/天的PCP。结果表明,与对照组相比,补充PCP花青素可提高(<0.05)粗蛋白和总能消化率。与对照组相比,添加富含花青素的PCP可使血浆还原型谷胱甘肽和过氧化物酶浓度显著升高(<0.05)。采食PCP的山羊瘤胃液乙酸含量增加(<0.05),乙酸与丙酸的比例更高,而丙酸、丁酸、戊酸、异丁酸和异戊酸水平降低(<0.05)。三组瘤胃液α细菌多样性无显著差异(>0.05)。在门水平上,采食PCP对、WPS-2和的丰度有显著影响(<0.05)。在属水平上,HA组的_NK3B31_组丰度低于其他组(<0.05)。此外,在所有组中,瘤胃液的_nodatum_组、、U29-B03、未分类_c_、UCG-004、、未分类_f_未分类_o_、未分类_f_未分类_o_未分类_c_未分类_p_WPS-2、未分类_f__UCG-001和未分类_f_未分类_o_也存在显著差异(<0.05)。综上所述,添加富含花青素的PCP可提高生长山羊的抗氧化能力,改善瘤胃挥发性脂肪酸,并引起瘤胃微生物群结构和相对丰度的变化。
