A new megastimane sesquiterpenoid, cassianol A (), and five known analogues () were isolated from the leaves extract of Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. All the isolates were isolated from for the first time. The anti-inflammatory activities of compounds were evaluated against nitric oxide (NO) production in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 mouse macrophages.
